Local Electrical Service for Rumson Homes

Rumson’s larger homes and riverfront properties along the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers often come with substantial electrical needs — multiple living areas, outdoor entertaining spaces, pools, and detailed lighting plans.

We work with Rumson homeowners on panel upgrades and service capacity planning, smart home and automation wiring, layered interior lighting, and landscape lighting that highlights architecture, trees and walkways. EV chargers for one or more vehicles are another common request.

For remodels and additions, we coordinate the electrical scope so circuits, fixtures and controls are planned before walls are closed, keeping the project organized and the finished result clean.

Whether you need a single new circuit or a complete electrical plan for a remodel, we start by listening to what you want, inspecting what you have, and explaining your options in plain language. You get a clear written quote before work begins, and we pull permits and schedule inspections where required, so the work is documented and done to code. We treat every home with care: drop cloths down, work areas cleaned up, and your questions answered along the way.

Common projects for Rumson homeowners include panel upgrades and replacements, dedicated circuits for new appliances, Level 2 EV charger installation, recessed and under-cabinet lighting, landscape and outdoor lighting, smart switches and home automation wiring, surge protection, and troubleshooting tripping breakers or flickering lights. If something feels wrong — a burning smell, a warm outlet, or a partial outage — call right away.
